Ocean City, Md.- Well as the 27th year of Play it Safe Ocean City comes to an end, The O.C.D.A.A.P.C. (Ocean City Drug Alcohol Prevention Committee) would like to extend to our 2016 High School Graduates are heartfelt Good Luck, Farewell, and Amen. Hope you made many great memories to honor your graduation! We hope you exceed every dream you have and continue to make wise safe choices in your lives. Please visit our host sponsors and other businesses that make the Play It Safe Project Possible! Please go back to your schools and mention us and this project to your administrators and Art teachers so that more schools can learn of this great project.
We also would like to take a moment to Thank all of our volunteers who many of you met at events but you may not know that most of them volunteer year round and give up countless hours to the Play it Safe Project trying to raise the necessary funds to make this project possible. Did you know that we receive less than 10% of our budget for each year’s project from the Government! Thus, we spend a lot of time conducting fund raisers so that High School Seniors Like Yourselves Can “Play It Safe” while here in Ocean City. So please feel free to Donate to next year’s project today.
As I am sure you know there are many local businesses that donate items and host events that make the project not just possible but fun. So please visit them and patronage their businesses and Thank Them for supporting the Play It Safe Project. We could not do it without the businesses who step up in our community for good causes like the Play It Safe Ocean City Project! So the OCDAAPC would like to take a moment and again THANK ALL OF OUR SUPPORTERS…WE COULD NOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT. That goes also for our partners including civic organizations and government agencies! THANK YOU AS WELL. From the Bus to the Free SHA Shirts critical to the success of this project.
Lastly, while we say Goodbye to the class of 2016 we look forward to welcoming the Class of 2017 for Fun, Safe, Free Events next year celebrating then our 28th year!
Good Bye and Amen!
